“6. National Open Access Conference and OpenAIRE2020 Workshop ”Open Access Week was held between the dates of 24-26 October 2017 with the participation of 220 people in Ege University Atatürk Culture Center, Konak, İzmir. A total of 584 people, 471 on the first day of the meeting and 113 on the second day, had the opportunity to follow the conference on the web.
Organized under the theme of Açık Open Science for a Better Future ”. Open Access openaıre2020 National Conference and Workshop “İYTE Library and Documentation Department and project manager openaıre2020 Turkey Gultekin Gurdal and İYTE Rector Mustafa Güden’s opening speeches on the importance of open science for İYTE and the whole world. Among the expected sessions of the workshop were chaired by IYTE Rector Prof.Dr. Mustafa Güden’s panel entitled açık Open science for a better future ”; The rectors of 7 universities participated and explained their views on open access, open science and the studies carried out in their universities.
During the conference, presentations on open science, research data, data science, open data, open access policies, next generation corporate archives, OpenAIRE, open innovation, CreativeCommon, and DSpace workshop were organized.
