The 12th Annual Meeting of ANKOS (Anatolian University Libraries Consortium) has been held every year since the establishment of the 12th Annual Meeting. was hosted in Elazığ.
Elazig Governor Muammer EROL, Rector of Firat University Prof. Dr. A. Feyzi BİNGÖL, ANKOS President Ertuğrul ÇİMEN, many guests from Turkey and abroad participated.
Cabir BİNGÖL, Head of Library and Documentation Department of Fırat University made the opening speech of the meeting; stated that such meetings are very important in terms of librarianship and recognition of librarians and expressed their happiness for hosting ANKOS meeting.
ANKOS President Ertuğrul ÇİMEN in his opening speech; ANKOS purpose of the university and research libraries of the most affordable rates, stressing that most electronic information resources accessible to ensure, academicians in Turkey and the students for the global information network by performing access to the highest levels of education and to increase the support of library research they are conducting joint studies, he said.
