2012 ANKOS Library / Information Center Managers meeting had a very special guest speaker. Head of Higher Education Council Prof. Dr. Gökhan ÇETİNSAYA welcomed the invitation. But the meeting will be held on the days of the new Council of Higher Education because of a very busy agenda Prof. Dr. ÇETİNSAYA had to change its schedule due to a meeting in Istanbul on the same date.
ÇETİNSAYA, who could not attend ANKOS Library / Information Center Administrators meeting as an invited speaker, accepted ANKOS Administration at his office on Thursday, November 15th. Rather, ANKOS Board of Directors visited the committee and discussed the items in the Draft Law of Higher Education Council (YÖK) and thought to be negative for university libraries. At the end of the visit; At the ANKOS Library / Information Center Administrators meeting, it was decided to submit a text to the YÖK Presidency by forming a text of common opinions about the Draft Law on Higher Education.
