19.SELL (Southern European Libraries Link) meeting 27-28 May 2019 date in Spain’s Galicia region of the capital, Santiago de Compestela in Galicia Consortium of France hosted, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Greece and from Cyprus 19 with the participation of the consortium representative.
At the meeting; SELL member Southern European countries; France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Greece, the country reports submitted by participants from Cyprus and developments on open access in the country, Articles Access Charge (APC), Predator (Predotory) Publishing, Plan S, experience sharing through detailed presentations on SCOAP3 it is made.
The working models of the consortiums in different countries were compared, information about the new projects was shared and mutual opinions were exchanged; In addition, necessary connections were made for participation in the conference to be held within the scope of ANKOSLink 2020 and SELL members were invited to ANKOSLink2020.
The meeting was attended by Perihan SEMERCİ on behalf of the ANKOS Presidency and Dr. Güssün GÜNEŞ, President of ANKOS. GÜNEŞ Open Science / OA Policies and Actions: Country presentation on Transformation Opportunities and ot Predotory Publishing ”gave information to participants.
