ANKOSLink Conference will take place at will take place at the Maritim Convention Center in Antalya Belek, 25 – 27 April 2013.
Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS) has been established in 2000 with the mission of easing the access to information for affordable prices. The Annual Meeting of ANKOS used to take place in universities in different cities of Turkey. 2013 meeting will be a transformational one, turning the annual event into a regional, international conference. Its new name will be “ANKOSLink”, and besides our current members and stakeholders, we are inviting librarians, information professionals and firms from Southern and Eastern Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East and former Soviet republics to be involved.
With the motto of “More Participation, More Sharing”, “ANKOSLink” Conference is now open to information professionals, educators, students, publishers and online information providers. A rich academic program will be accompanied by an exhibition featuring over 70 publishers and aggregators. The exhibition will not be limited to e-publishing, and companies with background in areas such as library automation, library security and library furniture have invited.
The ANKOSLink Conference provides a comprehensive academic program that will allow the participants to stay abreast of the latest enhancements.
Conference Program includes: “Turkey’s Science policy towards 2023”, :Preservation, Archiving and Perpetual Access to E-resources”, “Factors Impacting Consortial Negotiations and Global Consortial Models”, “Discovery Tools”, “Cloud Computing and Libraries”, “Turkish Electronic Content”.
The Venue comprises a main hall of 2.320 square meters and 2 additional halls of 1.000 and 1.200 m2 respectively. 16 breakout rooms of different sizes are also available. Maritim Congress Center offers 2.200 m2 foyer, strong infrastructure and quality equipment.
