ANKOS 16th Annual workshop was held between September 22-24, 2019 in collaboration with International Final University in Noah’s Ark Hotel / Kyrenia. The workshop, which was organized under the theme “Consortium working processes in the age of Big Data”, discussed the updated FTE ranges of universities for 2020-2024 and the active database agreements they affect.
Workshop, ANKOS President Dr. Lecturer. Member Güssün GÜNEŞ and the changes made for FTEs under the chairmanship of Mr. Lütfü Kılınç, Head of Library and Documentation Department of FSM University from User Statistics Group. ANKOS working groups ” Academy Working Group ” ” Licensing Agreements Group ” ” Cooperation and Working Group ” ” Public Relations Group ” ” User Statistics Group ” ” Open Access and Corporate Archives Group ” presented the group work plans for 2020 by referring to the work they have done during the year. On the second day of the workshop, new models were worked on in the consortium with database managers under the chairmanship of Muhammet Kızıl, head of Library and Documentation Department of Artvin Çoruh University of license agreements Group. In the last session, the database processes in the consortium under the chairmanship of Atılım University Library Director Mr. Emre Hasan Akbayrak were reviewed and the evaluation criteria for the new proposals were made. In the closing session of the workshop ANKOS President Dr. Lecturer the workshop ended with the general evaluation, wishes and closing speech of the member Mr. Güssün GÜNEŞ. On the last day of the workshop, a visit was made to the International Final University. Dear Rector Dr. Prof. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak, Vice Rector Dr. Cem Birol and Academic Affairs Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Prof. Nezahat Doğan and Library Manager Mr. Halil Ercan received detailed information about the university and its services and presented plaques to them by the ANKOS Presidency. Library Manager Halil Ercan Bey’s university campus and library were visited.
