[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Interlending & Document Supply Conference, which will be held for the 14th time this year, will be hosted by ANKOS on October 1-3, 2015 in Istanbul. The Ottoman Archives Department will be held in the Conference Hall.<\/p>\n

The theme of the conference was Sharing Resource Sharing at the Crossroads ve and papers are expected to:<\/p>\n

\u2022 The effect of open access to document provisioning. New purchase models for request \/ user-oriented acquisition.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Opportunities and threats for the ILL employee at a time of dramatic changes<\/p>\n

\u2022 Copyright and contract – a troubled relationship<\/p>\n

\u2022 Article use \/ Journal use – focus on less used materials<\/p>\n

\u2022 OCLC WorldShare ILL<\/p>\n

\u2022 The current state of ILL<\/p>\n

\u2022 Search engines and ILL<\/p>\n

\u2022 Country studies – especially in Turkey and also in neighboring countries.<\/p>\n

\u2022 International resource sharing concerns; delivery methods, payment options, interoperability of systems and computer standards<\/p>\n

\u2022 Solutions and challenges associated with sharing electronic resources such as eBooks and E-journals.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Open source systems and their role in resource sharing.<\/p>\n

\u2022 New horizons for library consortia or libraries’ collaboration among themselves.<\/p>\n

Submissions must be submitted to Pentti Vattulainen (pentti.vattulainen@nrl.fi) before 30 March 2015 and include the following details:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Name, title, institution, and contact information of the author (s)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Short biography<\/p>\n

\u2022 Title of the paper<\/p>\n

\u2022 Abstract (100 – 250 words)<\/p>\n

Conditions for all accepted papers:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Present at the conference in English by one of the authors.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The content of the manuscript should not be published before or should be under review for publication.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The papers reviewed by the standing committee are published in the Interlending and Document Supply journal (http:\/\/www.emeraldinsight.com\/loi\/ilds) if accepted.<\/p>\n

Important Dates:<\/p>\n

30 March 2015 – Submitting proposals to the standing committee<\/p>\n

20 April 2015 – Announcement of accepted papers to the authors<\/p>\n

31 August 2015 – Submission of completed papers by the authors<\/p>\n

NOTE: All expenses including conference fees, travel, hotel and conference registration fees are the responsibility of the authors.
