Prime Ministry Directorate General of State Archives, Directorate of Ottoman Archive.<\/p>\n<p>The conference website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/meetings.ankos.org.tr\/ilds2015\/\">http:\/\/meetings.ankos.org.tr\/ilds2015\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The conference theme is &#8220;Resource Sharing at the Crossroads&#8221; and the following topics are of particular interest for papers:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Open access impact on document supply<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 New models of purchase on demand\/patron driven acquisition<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Opportunities and threats for ILL staff in\u00a0 a period of dramatic changes<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Copyright and contract &#8211; an uneasy relationship<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Article usage\/journal usage &#8211; focussing on low use material<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 OCLC WorldShare ILL<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The state of ILL today<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Search engines and ILL<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Country studies &#8211; particularly Turkey but also neighbouring countries<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 International resource sharing concerns, such as: delivery methods, payment options, interoperability of systems, computer standards<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Challenges and solutions to sharing electronic resources such as e-books and e-journals<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Open source systems and their role in resource sharing<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 New frontiers for library consortia or collaboration between individual libraries<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Proposals for papers should be sent to Pentti Vattulainen, (<a href=\"mailto:pentti.vattulainen@nrl.fi\">pentti.vattulainen@nrl.fi<\/a>) no later than 30th March 2015 and should include the following details:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Author(s) name, title, institution, and contact information<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Brief biographical sketch<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Title of paper<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Abstract (100 to 250 words)<\/p>\n<p>The IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Standing Committee (hereafter, the SC) has sole responsibility for the final conference programme.\u00a0 All accepted papers must be:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Presented at the conference in English by at least one of the authors<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Original contributions, i.e., not previously published or under review for publication elsewhere<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Peer-reviewed by the SC and published in the full conference proceedings and if accepted in Interlending and Document Supply journal (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emeraldinsight.com\/loi\/ilds\">http:\/\/www.emeraldinsight.com\/loi\/ilds<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Deadlines<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>30 March 2015 &#8211; Proposals due to the Standing Committee<\/p>\n<p>20 April 2015 &#8211; SC notifies authors whether proposal was accepted<\/p>\n<p>31 August 2015 &#8211; Completed papers submitted by approved speakers<\/p>\n<p>Please note that expenses of attending the conference, including travel, hotel, and conference registration fees will be the responsibility of the authors and at least one of the authors must attend the conference to present the paper.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]14th Interlending &amp; Document Supply Conference, to be held 1 &#8211; 3 October 2015 in Istanbul hosted by The Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS).
