ANKOS. Since 2001, it has been organizing national and international meetings, producing policies and providing information services with the participation of librarians, researchers, students, information managers, educators, archivists and stakeholders in this field. In addition, as a volunteer working with a professional librarian on site, all academic institutions, libraries contributing to better access to favorable economic conditions to electronic resources for academics in Turkey and the scientists to eliminate the shortage of access to global information resources and contributes to the creation of value-added high scientific output.<\/p>\n

It conducts coordinated studies with the National Higher Education Institution and T\u00dcB\u0130TAK ULAKB\u0130M, and in the international arena, the Southern European Libraries Association (SEL\u0130), Scientific Publishing and Academic Resources Union (SPARC), International Library Consortium Coalition (ICOLC), Electronic Resources Statistics Standards Union (COUNTER). . It operates within organizations such as the UK Periodicals Group (UKSG) and the Open Access Journals Directory (DOAJ).<\/p>\n

ANKOS regularly organizes regional meetings outside the ANKOSLink Conference in order to increase the professional knowledge and experience of the managers working in academic libraries, to exchange information, to create new cooperation and collaboration areas, and to increase professional communication and cooperation.<\/p>\n
