Open Archives Intitiative promotes interoperability standards that are aiming to develop to faciliate the effective dissemination of scholarly repository.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Open Access Journal&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Open Access Journals are scholarly journals that are accessable, readable, recordable, duplicable, printable, scannable, indexable, linkable to full text, transferable into the software as data and can be used for any legal purpose without financial, legal or technical barriers via internet. Some of open access journals are subsidised by academic institutions or government, and some need paying by the authors or institutions that provide funds to authorts for studies. This typically requires the publisher to pay a certain fee for open access broadcasting. This fee is also called an article processing charge. The main objective of the project is to coordinate policies\u00a0 and structures at national and regional levels in six Mediterranean countries (Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Turkey).<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;OAIster (Union Catalog of Digital Resources)&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is a collective catalog of millions of information sources available to the public. The Open Archives Initiative harvests open access collections using the Metadata Collation Protocol.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;OpenAIRE Project &#8220;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is an interface and support mechanism for the identification, storage, access and viewing of articles supported by the European Union 7th Framework Program and the European Research Council. The main purpose of OpenAIRE is to provide support to researchers in accordance with the 7th Framework Program through a European Help Desk System, and to support researchers to publish their research output in an institutional or thematic archive included in the OpenAIRE Portal.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;OpenAIREPlus Project&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is a project that aims to strengthen the open access infrastructure in Turkey and is supported by the European Commission&#8217;s 7th Framework Program. RoMEO summarizes publishers&#8217; conditions and classifies publishers by colors that show the level of rights granted to authors.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Post-Print&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is the form of articles evaluated by the referees and decided to be published. In other words, it is a copy of the articles that go through the referee evaluation process.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Overlay Journal&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The term Overlay Journal is used for a special type of open access journal with academic content. Overlay journals create added value for science by grouping articles in a scattered environment, providing a comprehensive focus on relatively uncertain or emerging issues. The content of the overlay journals is created by choosing from the pre or final edition journal articles currently available in open archives. Editors of overlay journals review and evaluate materials available in open access archives and public resources. This evaluation can take the form of an editor or editors&#8217; evaluation of an article. After the evaluation, the studies deemed appropriate can take various forms. Its official format is the publication of the article with the explicit consent of the editor. Editor&#8217;s approval may be in the form of an attachment to the text or metadata, or linking to the article only through the journal\u2019s table of contents. An alternative approach may be to link to articles currently published in various open access journals.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Metadata&#8221;]<span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"margin: 0px; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is a data set that defines an information source.
