17th ANKOS Annual Workshop

The 17th ANKOS Annual Workshop was held between 24-26 September 2021, hosted by İzmir Institute of Technology, at Altın Yunus Resort & Thermal Hotel Çeşme/İzmir with the theme of “Re-Employing the Digital Future”.

On the first day that started with a visit to İzmir Institute of Technology, after the opening speech of the Head of Library and Documentation Department, Gültekin GÜRDAL, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alper BABA emphasized the importance of libraries and librarians and ANKOS studies for researchers, and emphasized that Izmir Institute of Technology always attaches importance to the work done in the field of librarianship. ANKOS President, Assoc. Dr. After Güssün GÜNEŞ’s speech, a plaque of appreciation was presented to the IYTE Rectorate for her contributions to ANKOS and hosting the workshop.

On the second day of the workshop, ANKOS President, Assoc. Dr. It started with the presidential presentation of Güssün GÜNEŞ, and the features and importance of ANKOS Gönülleri, Turkey’s best mind team, and the rejuvenating new face of ANKOS were mentioned. The President explained his new projects, project teams, work schedule and strategic plans and targets for the 2021-2023 period.
